The churches of St. Mary’s and Calvert counties have been some of the most important partners in Patuxent Habitat for Humanity’s ministry.  With the rising demand for affordable housing in front of us, Patuxent Habitat for Humanity wants to reach out to more of the faith community for support through the Interfaith Build program.  Patuxent Habitat for Humanity is a servant of  God, providing a concrete opportunity for people to put faith into action! 

An Interfaith Build is when multiple churches join together to fully fund and build ONE house for ONE family. Our whole Habitat mission to eliminate substandard housing is in response to our Christian faith in which God calls us to care for those who are in need. We live our faiths, not compromise them, by joining together to provide decent housing for all. And we do it for the sake of the world God created and loves!
